: This sounds too good to be true! Herm? That guy is my god.
Hey Brian! Sorry you missed it, but bringing in the New Year out on Crab Lake is pretty sweet too. But all is not lost! We have Herm's lecture available on cassette, complete with his autograph on the shell. He specified that we use mid 70's Realistic Chrome tapes for that vintage sound. Does he know his oxides or what?!
: Please don't tell us you've got Timmins in NYC on a c-120 Maxell tape?! Possibly?
We could put it on a 120 if you want, but the set isn't even 15 minutes long. We stock it on these early 80's 15per-side blanks that were specially manufactured by Sony Japan for classical music promos. Headroom you wouldn't believe!
But I know what you mean about Maxells. Those mid to late 80's XLIIs's are super sweet. I keep a stash of them for myself.
:I can't sleep
I think we have some old Arthur Fiedler Boston Pops tapes that would nod you off in a hurry. :)
Really, Brian, you sound like our kind of cassette fan, so get on out here real soon.
And thanks to everyone who made our grand opening such a success. It was the happiest day of my cassette-lovin life, and I mean that.
Your pal,
Cal
