Greetings Western Maine rock maniacs,
My name is Bettie Wilson, and I'm project director for Shades Of The Sixties Records. We specialize in reissues of forgotten, regional rock 'n' roll classics. We're currently putting together "Shades Of The Sixties, Vol. 13: Crabcakes & Cymbal Crashes -- The Western Maine Scene" and trying to find all of the rompin', stompin' Western Maine sides we can. We've already got some fab nuggets like:
The Trawlermen - Mulletskinner Blues
Cap'n Barnacle & The Peglegs - Walk The Plank
The Marsh Monsters - Rev It Up Marlin V8
But we want more, more, more! We're especially keen to find the following sides:
The Yellow Submarine - She Done Me (Wrong)
Admiral Dooey & The Don'ts - Two Crab Dudleys and a Chocolate Shake
The Ensigns - Come and Take A Ride In My Boat
Sally Stacht & The Fatal Femmes - Daydream At Midnight
The Tillermen - Hey Joe
The Crabhuskers - Surfin' Crab
The What - Magic Tugboat
The Maine Men - Lobster Twist
The Marsh Boys - Pretty Little Clamdigger Girl
If you have ANY 60s Western Maine wax, please get in touch with me:

Or mail your carefully packaged relics to:
Shades Of The Sixties Records
P.O. Box 1385
Oxnard, CA 93030-1385
attn: Vol. 13
We PROMISE that you will get them back promptly, receive a credit in the liners and a free copy of the CD upon release.
We'd also love to get in touch with any members of 60s Western Maine bands to interview for the liners -- set to be authored by our own inimitable Chester Best, the man who's listened to so much wax, it's coming out of his ears. We'd also like to be sure they receive their due royalties, of course!
Thanks very much for your help, and please watch for the release in the third quarter of 2001.
rockarockaroll!
